CU-ICAR stands for Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research. Their Deep Orange program allows students to collaborate and develop a fully-functional prototype car each year. "Rivkah's Journey" tells Rivkah Saldanha's personal story, project leader of Deep Orange 5, as a girl who came to America from India in order to pursue her dreams in the auto industry. 

 

This video had to have a lot of heart. I wanted there to be a balance between this girl's gentle, yet strong spirit and the perceived masculinity of the auto industry. Since General Motors was a sponsor for the Deep Orange 5 car, I also wanted to pay tribute to them while keeping the focus on Rivkah.
